concord aims to minimize existing inconsistencies between international norms and Israeli law,primarily through research designed to identify systematic and occasional gaps between the two legal systems
concord strives to serve as a focal point and as a catalyst for efforts to remedy any adverse consequence ensuing from the divergence between international norms and Israeli law
Specifically,concord seeks to attain the following goals:

• To promote and develop academic research on the incorporation of international standards into the Israeli legal system
• To engage in awareness -raising activities designed to point out normative gaps between international and national standards and the need to bridge over such gaps
• To provide information and advisory services on the relations between international and national law for a variety of decision makers as well as for the general public in and outside Israel
• To encourage practical -oriented research and to strengthen the links between the academia,on one hand,and decision-makers and practitioners on the other hand
